Thank you for visiting my website. I am Claire and I have always loved food and cooking. After working in Oil & Gas consultancy for nine years I eventually took the plunge and went back to college to study Food & Wine. I have cooked professionally ever since catering from home.
In the last year, I have been helping out in the kitchen at a great local Farm Shop and Cafe, so things have been pretty quiet on the Supper Club front. However, the good news is that Supper Clubs are back this winter and I will be running the annual Swedish Christmas Table, always a popular event.
I have been busy with classes too and have enjoyed working this year with teenagers, children at the village school and sharing my love of Scandinavian cooking with groups of adults.
I hope to see you soon at one of my upcoming events or cookery classes.
I graduated from Leith’s School of Food & Wine in 2003 and have been cooking professionally ever since. I work from my home kitchen in Dorchester, Oxfordshire.
I get quite excited about seasonal ingredients, especially when I find them on my doorstep and I always try to incorporate them into my food, from elderflowers to damsons, quinces, apples and pears which grow in plentiful supply in our special little village in Oxfordshire. We also have fantastic meat available with lamb, pork and beef all farmed within a mile of Dorchester.
My husband and his family are from the south of Sweden and we are very fortunate to spend every summer in our family summerhouse in the woods. I have developed a love of all things Swedish and have scoured my mother-in-law’s recipe books and recreated Swedish classics for special themed Supper Clubs.
